One of the world’s leading ecommerce operators Rakuten is bringing two of its businesses - LinkShare and Play.com - together under one roof at Orega’s High Holborn business centre in London’s Midtown.
UK online retailer Play.com was bought by the Japanese company last September, joining LinkShare (online marketing solutions) and a host of other ecommerce companies under the same corporate banner.
Play.com moved into 16 High Holborn from nearby Farringdon last month (March) and will be joined by LinkShare this month, which is relocating from Tottenham Court Road. Together, they will occupy 80% of the building’s fourth floor, totalling 3,500 sq ft.
Other new clients to the High Holborn business centre include Opus Recruitment Solutions, which has set up its first office in London; Silk Link Consultancy Services; Echelon Research, PSG Global Solutions, London IP and PMK Associates. Global communications company WCG has taken half of the fifth floor, totalling 1,990 sq ft.
Orega operates the five-storey business centre at 16 High Holborn under a joint venture management agreement with the building’s owner. Alongside the high-quality air-conditioned offices, Orega offers a range of meeting rooms and support services, all conveniently located adjacent Chancery Lane underground station.
