Jerry Alexander - MD, Liberty Business Centres

I have been involved in the Building industry for 17 years and serviced office market for over 6 years. Liberty Business Centres now own and operate 2 centres in Scotland with a total of 90 units. The business is currently undergoing growth with plans for a further two centres over the next 12 months.

I have been a member of the bca for about 5 years and now hope to represent the smaller operators on the bca board. We represent a different segment of the industry which is often seen as more personal to clients and better positioned to quickly adapt to market changes. I hope to be able to balance the bca board by bringing the smaller operators perspective. My involvement with one of the sub committees, has introduced me to some of the mechanics of the organisation and to some of the opportunities that exist for improvements in what the Business Centre Association can do for its members.
