The BCA brought the curtain down on 2017 with a spectacular Industry Awards evening attended by 400 guests, who generously raised over £4,000 for children’s charity Rays of Sunshine.
What a night! On Friday 24th November 2017, the BCA’s 17th Annual Industry Awards Ceremony took place at the magnificent Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel.
400 guests from the flexible workspace sector turned out in style to toast the achievements of the past year, some of whom travelled long distances to join the celebration. Amongst them, the BCA was delighted to welcome guests from Leading Business Centres in Dubai and members of the European Confederation of Business Centers Associations, from Spain.
The opening speech from the BCA’s Executive Director, Jennifer Brooke, acknowledged our industry’s rapid growth and continuous positive disruption across the commercial sector, which is made possible by the commitment, drive and vision of BCA Members and Partners.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the BCA Industry Awards winners. This year, a massive 600 nominations were received across five award categories.
Many congratulations to our 2017 winners and finalists:
BCA Broker Representative of the Year
BCA Partner of the Year Award

The BCA would like to thank our panel of award judges, who spent many hours meticulously reviewing hundreds of client nominations before selecting our 2017 finalists and winners:

Rays of Sunshine
This year’s event was marked by a very special occasion. With the help of hundreds of generous guests who dug deep into their pockets and played along with a game of ‘Heads or Tails’, over £4,000 was raised for children’s charity Rays of Sunshine.
Rays of Sunshine is a national charity that works to brighten the lives of seriously ill children by granting ‘wishes’, such as days out and special experiences.
As an example of the experiences your donations have made possible, Rays of Sunshine organised a fun-filled family trip to Butlins for 4-year old Taylor, who is living with a heart condition. 6-year old Ellouise, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, had her greatest wish granted when she became a princess for the day during her own Princess Birthday Party; and 16-year old LEGO fan Lewis, who is living with Morquio Disease, had the surprise of his life when he met his idol, LEGO designer and master builder Jamie Berard, at the famous home of LEGO in Billund, Denmark.
These wishes, and many more like them, give children positive experiences and precious family memories to cherish forever. You can learn more about Rays of Sunshine at raysofsunshine.org.uk.
