BCA member GKRE is producing a series of reports about the flexible workspace market in towns and regions around the UK, on behalf of the BCA. Their latest covers Birmingham.
In his introduction to the report, GKRE Director Douglas Green writes: 'Birmingham is the UK's second biggest city and the largest legal and financial centre outside London. Despite this, there is a perception among some that Birmingham has failed to regenerate itself to the same extent as regional rivals such as Manchester Leeds and Bristol.
In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Birmingham has undergone an astounding reinvention in recent years with a vibrant central business district, outstanding restaurants and the best shopping outside London.'
The report examines pricing, the types of flexible space on offer, and the operators making it available. It also looks at recent and upcoming activity in the city, and its general economic prospects.
