ip-Xchange, a 2017 award-winning BCA Partner, have appointed Ian Calder as their new Non-Executive Director.
With over 30 years’ experience, Ian is a well-known and respected figure in the world of flexible workspace communications. During his career, Ian has gained experience across a range of disciplines including technical, commercial, sales and management roles.
Ian commented: “It is a great honour and a privilege to be given the opportunity to work with an exceptional group of people in such an exciting time of growth and development.”
In his new role, Ian hopes to “provide a different and impartial perspective” to assist the ip-Xchange team and ultimately support the company in its growth objectives.
He added, “I am sure it will be great fun and a rewarding experience for all of us.”
Ian achieved Chartered Director status in 2006 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Institute of Directors in 2015. Alongside his new role with ip-Xchange, Ian also leads workshops for Business Studies students to help nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs.

ip-Xchange provides managed fibre Internet, Wi-Fi, IT and telecoms services to the flexible workspace, science park and real estate sectors. The company was crowned the 2017 BCA Partner of the Year at the annual Business Centre Association awards dinner on 24th November 2017.
