If in the future the BCA have advertisers, the BCA may report aggregate information to our advertisers at this time the BCA do not have advertisers.

• Provide information, products and services that you request, or (with your consent) which we think may interest you
• Carry out our contracts with you

Please note: At the moment the BCA does not have any advertisers. If in the future the BCA does have advertisers, we may give them aggregate information to help them reach their target audience, and we may use information we have collected to display advertisements to that audience. 5.2 Registering with us
If you register with us as a member, we save the details you provide and use them to enable us to personalise the service we offer to you. BCA members can update their information as necessary in the membership section of www.bca.uk.com or by contacting the BCA directly.
6.How and Where we store your data
We may transfer your collected data to storage outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may be processed outside the EEA to fulfil your order and deal with payment.
These may include payment processing (currently payments are made by WorldPay Gateway and verified by Comodo), search engine facilities, advertising and marketing.
By giving us your personal data, you agree to this arrangement. We will do what we reasonably can to keep your data secure.
Payment will be encrypted. If we give you a password, you must keep it confidential. Please don't share it. Although we try to provide protection, we cannot guarantee complete security for your data, and you take the risk that any sending of that data turns out to be not secure despite our efforts.
We only keep your data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described above in section 5, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it. In any event, we will conduct an annual review to ascertain whether we need to keep your data. Your data will be deleted if we no longer need it in accordance with the terms of our Data Retention Policy. Our Data Retention Policy will be available shortly.
Data security is of great importance to us, and to protect your data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through our site.

Notwithstanding the security measures that we take, it is important to remember that the transmission of data via the internet may not be completely secure and that you are advised to take suitable precautions when transmitting data to us via the internet.
7.Disclosing your information
We are allowed to disclose your information in the following cases:
• We can disclose it to other businesses in our group
• We can disclose it if we have a legal obligation to do so, or in order to protect other people's property, safety or rights
• We can exchange information with others to protect against fraud or credit risks.
We may contract with third parties to supply services to you on our behalf. These may include payment processing (currently payments are made by WorldPay Gateway and verified by Comodo), search engine facilities, advertising and marketing. In some cases, the third parties may require access to some or all of your data. The only third party who has access to your information is Worldpay Gateway and verified by Comodo who process your card payments. Where any of your data is required for such a purpose, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, our obligations, and the obligations of the third party under GDPR and the law.
Any credit card information provided to the BCA office given as ‘cardholder not present’ is processed, then details are destroyed.
We may compile statistics about the use of our site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying information. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as prospective investors, affiliates, partners and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.
7.2 If you are a BCA member:
We may disclose information about you:
• To conference delegates and attendees;
• To other members of the BCA. This may include a listing of all member locations, name of location, address and telephone number. If a member has advised the BCA that they do not wish to receive any calls/marketing material from BCA members, then respective details are withheld; and
• To BCA Partners. This may include a listing of all member locations, name of location, address and telephone number. If a member has advised the BCA that they do not wish to receive any calls/marketing material from BCA Partners, then respective details are withheld.
Before Member information is disclosed to other BCA Members and/or Partners, the BCA follows the following procedure:
• The Partner/Member has to give written information to the BCA ahead of any information being sent to Members, even with the knowledge that the information is in the public domain;
• The Partner/Member has to state that they will not sell or replicate the information to any third party;
• The Partner/Member has to confirm that they will act in accordance with the GDPR;
• The Partner/Member has to provide written confirmation that the data provided will only be used for a specific campaign;
• If a telephone campaign – the Partner/Member will supply the BCA with an outline of the script, the duration of the campaign and confirm the date that the listing will be destroyed;
• If a postal marketing campaign – the Partner/Member will supply the BCA with their marketing collateral for the specific campaign, they will confirm the duration of the campaign and confirm the date that the listing will be destroyed; and
• In advance of a marketing campaign to the membership Partners may request the BCA to e-broadcast to the membership, if this is the case the Partner/Member will supply the BCA with a proposed ‘e-broadcast’.
7.3 If you are a visitor to our website making an enquiry or otherwise contacting us:
We use information about you to:
• Tell you about other goods and services that might interest you;
• To help register you as a member; and
• To pass your enquiry onto the relevant BCA member. This means that the relevant BCA member will receive your details and they will contact you.
8.Your rights and contacting us
Under the GDPR, you have:
• the right to request access to, deletion of or correction of, your personal data held by us;
• the right to complain to a supervisory authority;
• be informed of what data processing is taking place;
• the right to restrict processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to object to processing of your personal data;

11. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
11.1 In the event that we use personal data for the purposes of automated decision-making and those decisions have a legal (or similarly significant effect) on you, you have the right to challenge to such decisions under GDPR, requesting human intervention, expressing their own point of view, and obtaining an explanation of the decision from us.
11.2 The right described in section 11.1 does not apply in the following circumstances:
a) The decision is necessary for the entry into, or performance of, a contract between the you and us;
b) The decision is authorised by law; or
c) You have given your explicit consent.
11.3 Where we use your personal data for profiling purposes, the following shall apply:
a) Clear information explaining the profiling will be provided, including its significance and the likely consequences;
b) Appropriate mathematical or statistical procedures will be used;
c) Technical and organisational measures necessary to minimise the risk of errors and to enable such errors to be easily corrected shall be implemented; and
